Connect Granola
Index your Granola meeting notes with an API key, with transcripts retained only on request.
The Granola connector reads your Granola notes and their transcripts with an API key you supply. It never edits or deletes anything in Granola.
You need the workspace admin role in Orcha and a Granola API key.
Add the connector
- Get an API key from Granola with access to the notes you want indexed.
- Open Connectors, choose Granola, paste the key, and add an optional label. The key is validated by listing notes and stored only in encrypted form. Do not paste the key anywhere else.
- Orcha catalogs your notes: each note appears as a durable summary object plus a separate transcript object.
Choose what gets indexed
Granola starts on Index essentials: the durable note summaries are retained and searchable by default, because they are small and stable. Raw transcripts stay catalog-only until you set an explicit rule to retain them.
Use it
Indexed notes come back from search cited to the exact note, from the Orcha app, the REST API, and AI assistants connected over MCP.
Remove it
- Pause stops syncing while keeping indexed content searchable.
- Revoke destroys Orcha's stored copy of the key and deactivates the source; indexed content is kept until you disconnect or reconnect.
- Disconnect purges indexed documents, search chunks, cached content, and sync state from your workspace.
- On the Granola side, revoke or rotate the API key itself; Orcha's copy stops working immediately and the connection surfaces the failure in its health status.
