Connect Granola
Index your Granola meeting notes with an API key. Orcha keeps transcripts only if you request it.
The Granola connector reads your Granola notes and their transcripts. It uses an API key that you supply. It does not edit or delete anything in Granola.
You must have the workspace admin role in Orcha and a Granola API key.
Add the connector

Get an API key from Granola with access to the notes that you want to index.

Open Connectors and choose Granola.

Paste the key.

Optionally, add a label. Orcha validates the key with a list of notes. Orcha stores the key in encrypted form only.
Do not paste the key in other locations. Other locations do not keep the key secure.

Orcha makes a catalog of your notes. Each note shows as a durable summary object and a separate transcript object.
Choose what gets indexed
Granola starts on Index essentials. By default, Orcha keeps the durable note summaries and makes them searchable, because they are small and stable. Raw transcripts stay in the catalog only. To keep transcripts, set an explicit rule.
Use it
Search returns indexed notes with a citation to the exact note. You can search from the Orcha app, the REST API, and AI assistants that connect over MCP.
Remove it
- Pause stops the sync. Indexed content stays searchable.
- Revoke deletes the copy of the key that Orcha stores, and deactivates the source. Orcha keeps the indexed content until you disconnect or reconnect.
- Disconnect deletes indexed documents, search chunks, cached content, and sync state from your workspace.
- On the Granola side, revoke or rotate the API key. The Orcha copy of the key stops working immediately. The health status of the connection shows the failure.
