Connect Linear

Index Linear issues, projects, and documents with read-only OAuth, kept current by webhooks.

The Linear connector reads issues, projects, and Linear documents with the read scope only. It never creates or changes Linear data.

You need the workspace admin role in Orcha and access to the Linear workspace.

Add the connector

  1. Open Connectors and choose Linear.
  2. Approve Linear's consent screen; the request is read-only.
  3. Orcha catalogs your teams: issue inventory, projects, and documents, without storing bodies beyond what the defaults retain.

Choose what gets indexed

Projects and Linear documents are durable, so they are retained as essentials by default. Issues follow a catalog-plus-live model per team: inventory is browsable, retained issues are indexed under your rules, and fresh search can also query Linear live for current state. Webhooks keep indexed issues current as they change.

Use it

Indexed issues and documents come back from search cited to the exact issue or document, with a link into Linear, from the Orcha app, the REST API, and AI assistants connected over MCP.

Remove it

  • Pause stops syncing while keeping indexed content searchable.
  • Revoke invalidates Orcha's Linear credential and deactivates the source; indexed content is kept until you disconnect or reconnect.
  • Disconnect purges indexed documents, search chunks, cached content, and sync state from your workspace.
  • From Linear: revoke Orcha under Settings, Account, Security & access (authorized applications). Linear notifies Orcha, which deactivates the connection; disconnect in Orcha to purge indexed content as well.
