Connect Linear

The Linear connector reads issues, projects, and Linear documents. It uses the read scope only. It does not create or change Linear data.

You must have the workspace admin role in Orcha and access to the Linear workspace.

Add the connector

1. Open Connectors and choose Linear.
2. Approve the Linear consent screen. The request is read-only.
3. Orcha makes a catalog of your teams. The catalog has the issue inventory, projects, and documents. Orcha stores bodies only for the content that the defaults keep.

Choose what gets indexed

Projects and Linear documents are durable. Thus, by default, Orcha keeps them as essentials. Issues use a catalog-plus-live model for each team:

• You can browse the inventory.
• Orcha indexes the issues that your rules keep.
• fresh search can also query Linear live for the current state.

Webhooks keep indexed issues current when they change.

Use it

Search returns indexed issues and documents with a citation to the exact issue or document. Each result has a link into Linear. You can search from the Orcha app, the REST API, and AI assistants that connect over MCP.

Remove it

• Pause stops the sync. Indexed content stays searchable.
• Revoke makes the Orcha Linear credential invalid and deactivates the source. Orcha keeps the indexed content until you disconnect or reconnect.
• Disconnect deletes indexed documents, search chunks, cached content, and sync state from your workspace.
• From Linear: revoke Orcha under Settings, Account, Security & access (authorized applications). Linear sends a notification to Orcha, and Orcha deactivates the connection. To also delete the indexed content, disconnect in Orcha.
