Connect Notion
Authorize Orcha's read-only Notion integration and index the pages you share with it.
The Notion connector authorizes Orcha's public Notion integration with read-only content access. It reads the pages you explicitly share during consent and never updates or creates Notion content.
You need the workspace admin role in Orcha and access to the Notion workspace.
Add the connector
- Open Connectors and choose Notion.
- Notion's consent screen asks which pages to share with Orcha. Pick the top-level pages or databases you want available; everything nested under them is included.
- Approve. Orcha catalogs the shared page tree: titles, paths, and revisions, without storing page bodies.
Choose what gets indexed
Notion starts in Index names only mode. Open Manage and set rules; paths mirror the page tree, and a rule on a parent page inherits through its subtree. Deletion is reconciled on full walks, so pages removed in Notion disappear from the index on a later sync.
To change which pages are shared at all, edit the connection in Notion (Settings, My connections, Orcha) or reconnect and pick a different set.
Use it
Indexed pages come back from search cited to the exact page and revision, with a link into Notion. This works from the Orcha app, the REST API, and AI assistants connected over MCP.
Remove it
- Pause stops syncing while keeping indexed content searchable.
- Revoke invalidates Orcha's Notion credential and deactivates the source; indexed content is kept until you disconnect or reconnect.
- Disconnect purges indexed documents, search chunks, cached content, and sync state from your workspace.
- From Notion: remove Orcha under Settings, My connections. Then disconnect in Orcha to purge indexed content as well.
