Connect Notion
Give authorization to the read-only Orcha Notion integration and index the pages that you share with it.
The Notion connector gives authorization to the public Orcha Notion integration with read-only content access. It reads only the pages that you share during the consent step. It does not update or create Notion content.
You must have the workspace admin role in Orcha and access to the Notion workspace.
Add the connector
- Open Connectors and choose Notion.
- On the Notion consent screen, select the top-level pages or databases to share with Orcha. Notion also shares all of the content below them.
- Approve the request. Orcha makes a catalog of the shared page tree. The catalog has titles, paths, and revisions. Orcha does not store page bodies.
Choose what gets indexed
Notion starts in Index names only mode. Open Manage and set rules. The paths are the same as the page tree. A rule on a parent page also applies to all pages below it. Orcha examines deletions on each full read. Thus, if you remove a page in Notion, Orcha removes it from the index on a later sync.
To change the pages that Notion shares, edit the connection in Notion (Settings, My connections, Orcha). Or reconnect and select a different set of pages.
Use it
Search returns indexed pages with a citation to the exact page and revision. Each result has a link into Notion. You can search from the Orcha app, the REST API, and AI assistants that connect over MCP.
Remove it
- Pause stops the sync. Indexed content stays searchable.
- Revoke makes the Orcha Notion credential invalid and deactivates the source. Orcha keeps the indexed content until you disconnect or reconnect.
- Disconnect deletes indexed documents, search chunks, cached content, and sync state from your workspace.
- From Notion: remove Orcha under Settings, My connections. Then disconnect in Orcha to also delete the indexed content.
